We know, we know… rules ruin everything. But without a few simple guidelines and policies, chaos quickly sets in. Do your part to preserving world order by keeping these guidelines in mind when booking your stay at Dream Hollywood.

 

CHECK IN POLICIES
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver’s license, passport, and proof-of-age card (no copies or photos accepted). Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation. All accompanying hotel guests must be registered with the front desk and provide valid photo identification in order to have access to the hotel.

 

GUARANTEE RULES
Prepaid Reservations. Your reservation is being held by the credit card provided at the time of booking. The reservation is non-refundable / non-cancellable, and you will be charged the full amount at time of booking.

Cancellable Reservations. Your reservation is being held by the credit card provided at the time of booking. 100% of the first night may be charged any time after booking. Your credit card may be charged if you do not check in at the Hotel on the scheduled arrival day, if you shorten your scheduled departure after checking-in, or if you do not cancel your reservation in accordance with the cancellation policy.

 

CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, AND EARLY DEPARTURES
Prepaid Reservations. The reservation is non-refundable / non-cancellable, and the credit card provided will be charged the full amount at the time of booking.

Cancellable Reservations. You may cancel your reservation until 3pm local Hotel time 1 day before your scheduled arrival date to avoid 1-night penalty including room rate and applicable taxes. Any change to your arrival or departure date or room type is subject to the Hotel’s availability at the time the modification is requested and may change the rate and/or require payment of cancellation fees. To make a change please contact The Hotel.

Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay shown. Should you depart early before the departure date confirmed for any reason, the Hotel may impose an early departure fee.

 

WALK-IN RESERVATIONS
The hotel does not accept walk-in reservations. Reservations must be made in advance of arrival either online, or through the hotel reservations team.

 

FACILITY FEE
Reservations are subject to a mandatory facility fee of $42 + tax, charged per night, per room. Taxes include a 16% occupancy tax, and a 0.2% CA Tourism Assessment tax. The facility fee includes:

  • Two bottled waters upon arrival
  • Access to the rooftop pool deck
  • Access to the fitness center
  • Access to house car, provided by Alto Rideshare. Available within 3 mile radius
  • Access to The Crypt Gallery
  • Complimentary room deliveries with Alfred and Geoffrey the delivery robots
  • Complimentary electric car charging stations available with valet parking
  • Wi-Fi for multiple devices throughout the hotel
  • Daily wine and cheese hour
  • Morning coffee in lobby

 

THE POOL
The Pool is open Monday -  Sunday from 8am - 6pm, excluding private events and weather permitting. From time to time, hotel may require all guests be 21 years or older to access the pool. Monday through Friday, lounge chairs are available for hotel guests on a first come, first-served basis. Hotel guests may be accompanied by one guest at a time. Saturday and Sunday, as well as special events, advance reservations are suggested for seating, although General Admission is also available. Cabanas require advance reservations and a food and beverage minimum, contact Hotel for assistance. 

 

RATE RULES/RESTRICTIONS
Rates are confirmed in the currency of the country in which the hotel is located unless otherwise specified in your e-mail confirmation details. For non-US hotels, the rate confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the Hotel at the time of your stay, based on the exchange rate used by the Hotel and the rate is subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversion or foreign charge fees by the bank or credit card Company, which are not within the Hotel’s control.

All special offers and promotions are marked as such. If they are not labeled as such, you cannot derive any rights in the event of obvious errors or mistakes

Rates confirmed are for the number of occupants listed in your e-mail confirmation, per room, per night and do not include additional charges for rollaway beds or extra people and will apply only to rooms booked as part of this reservation. Tour and package rates vary according to the features of the specific package or program offered at each hotel. The applicable charges for the packages confirmed are indicated in your e-mail confirmation details. Applicable taxes, service charges, and value-added tax (VAT), if applicable, will be added to the hotel bill unless indicated as a package feature. The taxes, service charges and value added tax shown on your e-mail confirmation are those currently in effect. Taxes, service charges, etc. are subject to change without notice according to local law.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS
A credit card and valid picture I.D. of the guest is required upon check-in.

Upon arrival, we require a valid credit card or debit card. The card will be authorized at check-in for the estimated amount of your entire stay (room, Facilities Fee, an amount for incidentals, plus applicable taxes) and a deposit for incidental charges will be taken. Incidental charges are $150 per day or $600 for four or more nights. It may take 72 hours or longer after check-out for your bank to release the credit hold on your account. The Hotel is not responsible for overdraft charges incurred due to the hold.

The hotel does not accept cash as a form of payment.

 

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECKOUT
Rooms may not be available until after the reserved hotel's designated check-in time. Early check-in is extended complimentary based on availability. The late checkout fee varies, depending on the time of day. If a room is not available upon early arrival or we cannot extend your requested late checkout, our bell staff will be happy to store your luggage on your behalf.

 

PARKING
Valet-parking charges are $60.00 per night for overnight parking with unlimited in and out privileges. The parking lot is monitored 24-hours a day. 

 

GOING GREEN
Dream Hollywood is committed to preserving our natural environment and remaining respectful of the on-going drought in California. By conserving the usage of our vital resources, you help realize the dream of a better tomorrow. To encourage these efforts, bed linens are changed every third day or your stay. If you prefer them changed more often, please contact Housekeeping. If you wish to reuse your towels, simply hang them up and we will not replace them.

 

TABLETS
For our guests's convenience, at tablet is available in every guest room, featuring a digital directory of hotel services. The tablet is to remain in the guest room. Should it be discovered missing or damaged, a charge of $750 will be applied to the credit card on file.

 

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Hotel, including in the guest rooms. There will be a minimum $500 cleaning charge assessed if it is determined that there was smoking in the guest room during your reservation period.

 

PET POLICY
Dogs weighing less than 25 pounds are welcome in our pet-friendly rooms. Pets may not be left unattended at any time. There is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $125.00.
Service animals are exempt from pet policies and from any pet deposit charge or fee that is in place. If you have specific questions about staying with your pet or service animal, please reach out to us directly.

 

PACKAGE POLICY
Up to 5 packages are held complimentary; a charge of $5 will occur for each package after

  • Guests will be responsible for shipping costs if package needs to be returned or forwarded
  • Registered guest name is required on all packages
  • Guest must retrieve all packages that were delivered upon arrival
  • The hotel is not responsible for refusing packages for guests
  • The hotel is not responsible for sending packages back to shipper or vendor
  • The hotel is not responsible for unclaimed packages for more than 30 days from the date it was received
  • Packages must be retrieved by the person whose name is on the label (ID required)

 

LOST AND FOUND
If you have misplaced any items during you stay, please contact our front desk to inquire. Any items found by out team, are stored for up to 30 days. Dream Hollywood is not responsible for any lost items.

 

FILM & PHOTO SHOOTS
For the privacy of our guests, we ask that you refrain from taking professional photography in our public areas and guest rooms. Patrons are allowed to use a small handheld camera or cell phone while filming or taking photos throughout the hotel without disrupting the privacy of other guests. Please note, that unplanned and unauthorized professional photoshoots or video shoots in the hotel public spaces, outlets, or guest rooms will be removed by security.
